Gosh it’s getting hard to remember!! I think A was 6lbs 11oz and B 5lbs 9oz, but A did not nurse well and lost a lot of weight, by the time we figured it out they were the exact same weight and grew oz for oz inch for inch the same for 2 years! Now A at 8 years old, is bigger again 🤣

Indeed it is! But it’s a county rec program for middle school kids. My girls were in the very casual developmental program for 1-3rd graders and a few of the fastest kids were invited to run a few events at this meet. It was very basic but a fun taste for them!!

I believe it’s from 4 years old, but weight and heights should be factored in too. Note that many argue that young isn’t ready for backless booster and should still be in a 5 point harness car seat, best to talk to your pediatrician!

Yes!! They’re much easier to keep clean, burst sent us their line of kids brushes, toothpaste, and floss last year and we love them!!

I have the opposite perspective lol. Everyone sleeping in one room created stronger bonds between family members, being able to store your bed afterwards and have tons of free space, and having a harder surface to sleep on is better for your back. I think it's pretty cool, definitely different from American culture tho imagine living like this and having a sleep over 😅

this is a very glass half full way of looking at it and is 100% accurate. we lived in a 900sqft apartment in brooklyn until our kiddos were 6/4/4. kids had a "bedroom" (dining room converted) and we we had our own bedroom, but 1 living space, 1 bathroom, tiny galley kitchen. there was no getting away from anyone. no personal space. when the kids were young it was loud and chaotic but also really special! i can't imagine when kids are older, teens and what not - you can't have friends over, life is just very different living this way, but no matter huge mansion or tiny 1 room apartment, there are always pros and cons to EVERY situation.

@@miguelcarmona9645 Here in Europe my father told me that his grandfather told him how, his grandfather and their fathers grew up in a time when there where no mattresses, his grandfathers grandfather was the first one in the family to buy a spring mattress. That was in the 1800s! He told him that even in that day the times of his grandfathers father some people slept on straw and hides on the floor and makeshift beds nothing resembling modern beds! Only the middle and upper class had actual beds, most of the people did it the Japan way back then I guess. But in the time of my grandfather there was a monarchy here and apartments were usually around 200m2 or 2153sqFt with very high ceilings, by today’s time the average apartment size has shrunk to 100m2 or 1077sqFt after WW2 and before 20 or 30 years it was 60 to 80m2 or 646 to 861sqFt and today with the mass migration the apartments are never more expensive but are only 30m2 to 60m2 on average that’s 323 to 646sqFt! Don’t know how it was in Japan before the war if they were any bigger, but the isolation means they didn’t have beds back then either, they were like North Korea today!
